About
three months back my wife and I were out shopping and we
received an urgent call from one of the ladies in our
church. She lives out in the country and was baby-sitting
for a 3 year old boy along with her own children ages 1, 4
and 5. Her four year old and the 3 year old boy had slipped
outside to play as she was talking on the phone. A few
minutes later her five year old girl came in the house and
informed her that the boys were in the neighbor's pool which
was quite a ways away. The boys were playing with a ball
and had thrown it up over the fence into the pool. One of
the boys had climbed over the fence and gotten in the pool
to retrieve the ball and drowned. The other boy climbed the
fence and went into the pool to help the other boy and had
also drowned. By the time Rhonda got there both boys
lifeless bodies were floating face down in the pool. She
immediately went in the pool, pulled out the boys and began
CPR. She was able to get the boys breathing again, by the
grace of God. She called an ambulance and continued CPR
until the ambulance arrived. When she called us they were
on the way to the hospital in Chillicothe, Missouri and she
didn't know if the boys were alive or dead.
When she
told us what had happened we immediately began speaking life
over the boys. Fear tried to come against us but we
resisted it with the Word of God. They life flighted the
boys to Children's Mercy Hospital and arrived there at 5:30
in the evening where we were waiting for them. About 8:30
in the evening the doctors called Rhonda in to tell her the
news. The boys were in very bad shape. Their lungs were
still filled with water and they didn't know if they would
live or die. They were on breathing machines since they had
arrived at Chillicothe Hospital. They would just have to
wait and see if they regained consciousness and if they were
still all there or if the brain damage or organ damage were
too severe. They painted a pretty gloomy picture.
I was
allowed to go in with another person at about 9 o'clock. I
took Rhonda's sister in with me. She was weeping as the
nurse told us that Jason hadn't had any conscious movements
just some involuntary nerve movements and she didn't know if
he was even really still here. Rhonda's sister said to me
"Doesn't the Bible say something like if two will agree in
prayer that God will do it for them?" I told her absolutely
that's what the Bible says.
I laid my
hand on his chest and could feel and hear the water in his
lungs gurgling every time the breathing machine breathed in
and out for him. Then I commanded his chest to be clear of
fluid, in the name of Jesus. Then I laid my hands on his
head and commanded his mind to be sound in the name of
Jesus. The nurse was standing there all the time and she
heard me say it.
I took
Rhonda's sister out and brought my father in to see Jason,
who was my nephew and my father's grandson. I told my
father what the nurse had said and was going to have him lay
his hand on Jason's chest and feel the water bubbling as the
breathing machine breathed in and out but when I put my hand
back on his chest there was no bubbling or gurgling, his
chest was completely clear. Then I put my hands on his head
again and said "Jason, this is your uncle and your grandpa
is right here with me, Jason I command you in the name of
Jesus to wake up!" The nurse was standing right there and
heard me say it. When I said that immediately his eyes
fluttered. Then I said again "Jason I command you to wake
up in the name of Jesus!" Immediately he came completely
awake and alert. The nurse said "He's here, he's here!"
That moment he was completely healed by the power of God.
The other boy was also healed and both boys went home
completely normal after about 3 days of observation. We
serve an almighty God who is more than enough to meet all
our needs.
In the last
couple of weeks we have had other testimonies of arthritis
being healed after prayer at faith and healing class. And a
lady being healed of a cancerous tumor on her liver after
prayer of agreement in our faith and healing class. When
she went in for surgery that same week they did the sonogram
and it was completely gone. Praise God! We also had a
testimony of new bone growth from a bone that was broken by
cancer. The doctor said there was no possibility of new
bone growth but he doesn't know the living God who is more
than enough to meet all our needs
I could go
on and on from deliverance's of addictions to commitments to
Christ to those being Baptized in the Holy Spirit. I just
want to give God ALL the glory and praise for all He has
freely given to us through His great and precious promises
in Christ Jesus. God is more than enough and we give Him
ALL the glory and praise! |
